FURMAN POWER CONDITIONERS

Furman's range of power conditioners offer protection against abnormal power circuit conditions. The Classic series are the original Furman range but updated with features to suit the European market. The Merit series provide more basic protection, at a lower price. All units, with the exception of AC210A E are housed in 1U rack-mounting enclosures.

COMPACT POWER SERIES

AC-210A E

AC-210A E - 10 Amp, 2x outlets

AC-210A E is a compact, two-outlet power conditioner designed to be mounted discreetly behind a TV or on a desktop surface. It features SMP (Series Multi-Stage Protection Plus) that clamps at 376V peak, 275V RMS to give surge protection up to 6000V and 3000A. LiFT (Linear Filtering Technology) is employed to give protection against RFI and other induced line noise, whilst E.V.S. (Extreme Voltage Shutdown) detects creeping voltage rises that reach 15% over the norm and powers down the system.

CLASSIC SERIES

Furman's Classic series 'PL' all share a common set of features. 'Series Multistage Protection' provides surge protection up to 6000V and 3000A pulses, far in excess of common spikes. 'Linear Filtering Technology' gives protection against RFI and other induced line-noise. 'Extreme Voltage Shutdown' detects creeping voltage rises that reach 15% over the norm and powers down the system. There are ten IEC 10amp rear outlets in two isolated banks of five plus a front panel IEC outlet. The front panel has a power on/off switch and two pop-out LED lamp units with dimmer control, for illumination of the equipment rack controls.

PL-8C-E

PL-8C E - 10 Amp, 11x outlets

PL-8C E features 'Smooth Track' LED rack lights which produce minimal heat and provide a longer lifespan than incandescent bulbs. A dimmer control for the rack lights allows the user to adjust the level of illumination (by rotating clockwise/counter-clockwise), or switch the lamps on and off (by pushing the knob in). A rear mounted BNC jack accepts a GN-LED or GN-I lamp, or any standard (12VAC, 0.5 amp) gooseneck lamp for rear rack illumination. Additionally, the PL-8C E is equipped with a front panel convenience AC outlet and ten rear panel outlets. PL-8C E’s 10 amp (2300W) capacity is supplied via included, and detachable AC cord with security clip.

MERIT SERIES

Furman's Merit series are the 'most affordable' power conditioners available. They provide eleven total outlets, standard level surge suppression, standard level EMI/RFI filtration, and a 19-inch rackmount, 1U steel chassis. Designed for use in instrument rig, recording studio, DJ equipment, and pro audio setups.

M-10x E

M-10x E - 10 Amp, 11x outlets

The Merit series are low-cost AC power conditioners, offering spike and surge protection as well as RFI/EMI noise protection. There are ten switched IEC 10 amp rear outlets in two isolated banks of five, plus a front panel IEC outlet and the unit is rated for a total load of 10 amps. The inlet is a 10 amp IEC male connector. This power conditioner doesn't feature any lighting.

ELITE-10 E I

ELITE-10 E I - 10 Amp, 8x outlets, with BNC voltage surge suppression

Elite-10E I includes a front panel mounted dimmer control for the two retractable front panel light tubes. The dimmer knob controls the brightness of both light fixtures. When the light tubes are fully inserted flush to the front panel, the light circuit is turned off via an internal micro-switch. Two 'Video Component AC Outlets' can be employed for critical video components such as DVD players, projectors, plasma, or LCD video screens, whilst four rear panel positioned 'Audio - Audio-Video AC Outlets' can be employed for any component not connected to the 'Video Component AC Outlets'. These outlets still possess AC noise filtering. All in-line surge suppressors feature ground contamination free to aid in eliminating audio buzzing, and the video hum-bars that can result from typical in-line suppressors. Further, the cable and satellite suppressors are DVR friendly as well as HD digital television ready. Both DC carrier signals as well as high bandwidth signals can pass through the circuit.
