NEUTRIK XLR PANEL CONNECTORS - BA series

These are a lower cost version of the Neutrik B series metal bodied XLR panel connectors from Neutrik, these have the smallest size and highest packing density (23mm between centres). The BA series offers EMC and RF shielding plus mechanical robustness. Female and male connectors have the same panel cutout and mountings, and there is an option to give colour coding using the ACRF and ACRM escutcheons. All connectors have hard gold plated contacts.

Panel fastening of these connectors is by self-tapping screws, type PT, with thread 2.9 x 1.06 (DIN7990), stock codes 40-927 (pan head) and 40-932 (countersunk).

Two orientations of the PCB pins are available in this series.

H = Horizontal PCB, i.e. angled pins
V = Vertical PCB, i.e. straight pins

Further options exist for the female connectors, denoted by suffix numbers and letters:

[no suffix] No panel or shell ground contact
1 Pin 1 directly connected to panel and shell ground
2 Pin 1 isolated from panel and shell ground, separate ground contact to shell and panel
-0 No latch, fitted instead with retention spring

Further options exist for the male connector, denoted by suffix numbers and letters:

[no suffix] Pin 1 isolated from panel and shell ground, separate ground contact to shell and panel
-0 Pin 1 isolated from panel and shell ground, separate ground contact to shell
-1 Pin 1 directly connected to panel and shell ground

Ordering note: The 4-pin and 5-pin types use the BA series housing (and therefore use BA series mounting screws), but have the type code B series rather than BA.
