1U black painted rigid extrusion fitted with 2 rows of 32 sockets, 4.1mm type spaced both horizontally and vertically to enable them to be used with all standard PO type 4.1mm U-links, and suitably spaced 2 pin connectors such as the PO type 231A. Standard 4mm plugs may also be used. A snap-on cover designation-strip holder is fitted to the top of the panel, permitting the supplied paper strips to be inserted before or after installation; 7.5mm of printable height is available. Templates for printing designation strip labels, available as a DWG file for AutoCAD and compatible applications, can be downloaded from the appropriate product page on the Canford website.
Spare designation-strip paper inserts (not suitable for printers) and clear covers are available. A lacing/earthing bar kit is also available, depth of panel with bar fitted is 100mm. Manufactured to BBC design.
PA1/114 has white sockets, PA1/114A has alternate pairs of white and black sockets on each row.
