EMO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS

This range of modern 1U and 2U rack-mounting panels and floor boxes have been engineered by Canford specifically to provide a versatile, robust and safe solution suitable for powering a diverse combination of equipment. They are more commonly used in mobile racks and flight cases for temporary installations in live entertainment, including theatre, touring systems, location recording and outside broadcast work, though their unique design and configuration makes them also equally suited to many fixed installs.

1U Models (E611, E612, E613, E614, E615)

2U 16A Models (E616, E617, E671, E672)

These 2U units are constructed from a substantial steel enclosure and come fitted with a 16 Amp CEEform inlet for power in and a directly wired loop-out outlet to supply additional panels mounted in other enclosures. This means that several mobile racks may be powered from a single source. Alternatively power may be fed off to suitable distribution strips.

A unique feature of the 16 Amp versions is the recess above the inlet connector which allows the sprung cap of the mating CEEform cable socket to fit into the panel, avoiding interference with the equipment above and providing the latching facility necessary to avoid accidental disengagement of the connector.

Outputs are via a mixture of UK BS1363 13 Amp, Shuko 16 Amp and 10 Amp locking IEC sockets.

All models have LED "traffic light" indicators to show Supply Present, Earth Present and Neutral Fault status which can be disabled via a rocker switch for low light on stage use and to enable PAT testing. BS1363 13 Amp mains outlets are arranged to avoid power cords interfering with adjacent hardware and also support the use of plug-top power supplies. All output connectors are wired via overcurrent thermal circuit breakers. Earth grounding points feature on the rear of all models as standard. 100mm depth rear steel enclosure.
