6.35mm PC mounting jack sockets, available in four versions. Separation of the mechanical latch and electrical contacts means that a high retention force can be achieved togeter with low insertion pressure. It also means that the pressure on the electrical contacts is reduced, so that they can be hard-gold plated. They contact and latch with both mono and A-gauge stereo jacks. They are not suitable for use with B-gauge jacks.
They have PCB contacts on the rear face, for use with a vertical PCB (at right angles to the axis of the connector), and have both a fixing stud and a screw recess. The cap snaps into place, for rapid panel fixing (1.2mm-1.5mm thickness). Mounting hole diameter 12.0mm.
