With HDMI Micro D plugs at one end, and type A plugs at the other, these robust cables have screened cable with gold-plated plug contacts and moulded plastic shell and strain relief. Cables utilise 30AWG wires.
HDMI Micro D is a connector defined in the HDMI 1.4 specification intended for mobile phones and similar portable devices. It keeps the standard 19 pins used in the Type A connector but shrinks it down to 2.8mm x 6.4mm.
The term HDMI v1.4 is no longer used and instead is referred to as High Speed with Ethernet. For further information on HDMI standards, go to www.hdmi.org.
