With HDMI Micro D plugs at one end, and type A plugs at the other, these robust cables have screened cable with gold-plated plug contacts and moulded plastic shell and strain relief. Cables utilise 30AWG wires.
HDMI Micro D is a connector defined in the HDMI v1.4 specification intended for mobile phones and similar portable devices. It keeps the standard 19 pins used in the Type A connector but shrinks it down to 2.8mm x 6.4mm.
The term HDMI v1.4 is no longer used to describe an HDMI cable and instead is referred to as 'High speed with Ethernet', For further information on HDMI Standards, go to www.hdmi.org.
