Canford has strengthened its commercial audio product range with the introduction of DNH loudspeakers.
DNH manufacture reliable loudspeakers for harsh industrial and commercial audio applications. The Norwegian company has a rich heritage dating back to 1946, when a former Norwegian POW and his brother formed the fledgling audio business with repatriation money received after his release.
Today DNH offer a complete product portfolio that will satisfy the most demanding of locations. They were the first loudspeaker manufacturer to develop an explosion proof speaker and currently provide for more than 85% of all loudspeaker installations used on offshore platforms in the North Sea.
In addition to more common applications such as background music and announcement in hospitals, schools and leisure facilities, DNH loudspeakers have been used to provide vital announcements throughout the London Underground, and can be seen in a number of transport routes where powerful DNH tunnel horns have been installed to provide a primary source of evacuation as prescribed by EU directives.
