CatKit is an extremely rugged etherCON stagebox system which offers a speedy solution to deploying multiple, Dante compatible Cat5E cables in demanding environments. Built to withstand a tough life of touring, events and outside broadcast work, the robust trapezoid body of each CatKit stagebox is strengthened with metal endplates and two 10mm aluminium base runners which provide ground clearance over surface water and allow the CatKit box to slide easily when dragged by the cable during rigging.
Available in either 4 or 8 way configuration, all types are supplied with latching nickel plated Neutrik etherCON RJ45 connectors. CatKit stage boxes are fitted with captive multicore cables. A choice of Flexible or Heavy Duty Grade is available. Flexible grade has been optimised for the best possible flexibility and lie flat when deployed. The Heavy Duty version provides good flexibility and benefits from an additional PUR outer jacket which offers exceptional abrasion, moisture and chemical resistance. Both versions are available from stock in 25, 50 and 75m lengths, with etherCON break-out tails. Custom lengths are available on-demand.
Multicore cables have etherCON break-out tails at each end, patch boxes provide back-to back etherCON connectivity and breakout to standard RJ45 Cat5E patchcords.
