Commonly seen in courtrooms and conference halls, the RDL TP-BN14 is a bidirectional Dante network interface for table top use.
Effective communication between a large number of people (sometimes hundreds!) is a challenge that many conference halls, meeting venues, and courtrooms face. Our friends at RDL have made this process as simple, and intuitive, as possible.
Key Features
RDL have thought of everything you could ever need, but here are our five favourite features:
- Shock-mounted 3-pin XLR input with phantom power and mute button (momentary or latching).
- Automatic gain: 40db for condenser mics and 60db for dynamic mics. Users no longer need to tweak the level themselves. Just plug in, and go.
- 2-watt speaker (with built-in compression and limiting) as well as an 1/8 inch headphone socket.
- The front panel level control utilises a long-life potentiometer feeding a VCA. No audio passes through the potentiometer, ensuring years of noise-free operation.
- Switchable low-cut filter (with 40dB/Octave roll-off) to prevent table thumps and other noises being picked up by the microphone.
