LED Illuminated Signs
The Canford studio illuminated sign is a true icon! It can be found in hundreds of broadcast, TV, radio, and recording studios around the world. We finally decided to give this classic a significant upgrade.
The brand new illuminated signs feature the same iconic aesthetic as the original and have been designed for maximum visibility: even when placed in a corridor it is obvious if the light is on from all viewing angles. The new LED version is significantly more efficient, and therefore cheaper to run than the original bulb versions, whilst providing a more consistent illumination.
The classic red cover is made from a durable polycarbonate which snap-fits over the base for fast, tool-less installation. Several printed legends are available as standard (including 'On Air', 'Recording', and 'No Entry') but covers are also available blank, or we can custom print one for you too.
Available in two different versions
Type A: Non-flashing, static on or off only.
Type B: Flashing can be set via an internal DIP switch (another improvement over the original which required a jumper header).
