All of our own-brand products undergo an extensive research process. This involves speaking to many of our customers about the problems they are having - often we've even come up with the solution to a problem they didn't realise they had. Our new connectors are the latest result of this process.
So, from all of us at Canford, here is a big thank you. After all, these connectors were your idea.
Low profile XLR connectors are perfect when working in environments where space is at a premium. Touring racks and all manner of temporary installs might need to be done with very little space. Canford Low Profile XLRs are our premium connectors for exactly these kinds of applications.
Accompanying the standard-size, high-quality connector body is a plastic insert which pushes into the body forming a tight seal. The cable exits the body at a right angle and can easily be adjusted to face any direction, which helps to make cable management a breeze.
Also recently released are our panel type DMX Adapters featuring 5-pin male or female XLR connectors with an RJ45 adapter at the rear.
These were repeatedly asked for by several of our customers and road tested by a handful too. The feedback continues to be very positive!
Note - These are suitable solely for rear of panel mounting. They require M3 mounting screws as the XLR shell mounting holes are threaded.
