Correct alignment and monitoring of programme material is of paramount importance to broadcast engineers and organisations. With the increasing use of independent production facilities and international programme exchange, ensuring correct alignment and compatibility of programme material can become confusing. This specially prepared disc provides a convenient source of the definitive international reference and measurement signals. There are 97 tracks including international alignment levels, test signals for VU, PPM, phase and loudness meter alignment and system tests (including EBU line test sequence – ideal for ‘holding’ lines) and a reference speech recording, as used in the Canford ‘Quick Check’ family.
