The DMH265 headphones are a special variant of the long-established DMH205 headphones, designed specifically for 'listening post' applications in museums, learning centres and other applications where the headphones will be captive as part of the installation. They have metal-spiral reinforced cables and are for connection to equipment behind a panel.
The DMH265 has a 1.2 metre length of flexible metal-spiral reinforced cable over-moulded in black plastic, then a 200mm non-reinforced section terminated in a right-angle 3.5mm 3-pole jack plug.
The DMH265SS has a 1.2 metre length of flexible stainless steel-spiral reinforced cable, then a 200mm non-reinforced section terminated in a right-angle 3.5mm 3-pole jack plug.
Ear loudspeaker impedance is 40 ohms, to offer the best match to the output of PCs and other playout devices likely to be used in such installations. Other impedances, cable lengths or connectors are available to special order.
