Fine mesh windshield to protect microphones from ‘popping’ and breath noise for close vocal work. Two fine mesh screens of fire-retardant fabric are supported by a circular moulding which is attached to a gooseneck stem, which has a 3/8″ Whitworth inside thread so it can be directly mounted on mic stands or standard accessories such as stereo bars, guitar clamps etc. The multipurpose stand adaptor allows the popshield to be fitted between the mic stand and clip, or fitted directly onto the stems of K&M stands and boom arms (11mm or 15mm diameter). Also suitable for use with most other makes of mic stand and boom arm. The fabric screens may be cleaned by immersing in windshield cleaner; replacement mesh assemblies are also available.
